Sweet Soy Glaze Beef and Broccoli With Scaillion Jasmine Rice


PREP TIME: 10 Minutes/ COOK TIME: 35 Minutes

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Medium

INGREDIENTS: 5 TSP Rice Wine Vinegar, 1/8 Cup Sweet Soy Glaze, Scallions, 1 TSP Sriracha, 1 TBSP Corn Starch, 4 TBSP Oyster Sauce, Broccoli, Ranch Steak, 1 TBSP Sesame Seeds, ¾ Cup Jasmime Rice, 1 TSP Garlic Powder


Step 1: Prep and Cook Rice

Wash and dry produce

Trim and cut broccoli into florets

Thinly slice scallions. Reserve 2 TBSP for serving

in a small pot, on medium heat melt 2 TBSP of butter

Combine rice, scallions, 1.25 cups of water, and ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Bring to a boil

REDUCE HEAT TO LOW AND COVER

Simmer for 15 minutes

Keep covered and off heat until ready to serve

Step 2: Mix Sauce and Cook Broccoli

In a small bowl, combine sweet soy glaze, oyster sauce, Sriracha, vinegar, and ¼ Cup of water

Place broccoli in a large microwave safe bowl with 1 TBSP of water

Microwave for 3 minutes

Step 3: Stir Fry

Meanwhile, pat steak dry with paper towels. Thinly slice against the grain

Season all over with garlic powder, and ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat

Add steak, and cook for 3 minutes

Add broccoli, sauce, and season with ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Mix well, and warm untill sauce comes up to temp

Step 4: Finish and Serve

Fluff Rice with a fork

Divide rice and stir fry between shallow bowls

Top with scallion greens and sesame seeds

Serve Hot and Enjoy!
