Bacon Jam Beef Burgers With Gouda, Crispy Fried Onion, And Seasoned Potatoe Wedges


PREP TIME: 10 Minutes/ COOK TIME: 30 Minutes

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Medium

INGREDIENTS: Brioche Buns, 1/4 Cup Bacon Jam, Baby Lettuce, 1 TBSP Fry Seasoning, Potatoes, Ground Beef, 1/4 Cup Crispy Fried Onions, 2 TSP Dijon Mustard, 2 TBSP Mayo, Sliced Gouda Cheese


Step 1: Prep

Adjust rack to top position, and preheat oven to 450 degrees

Wash and dry produce

Cut potatoes into thick wedges

Trim and discard root end from lettuce, thinly slice lettuce into shreads

Step 2: Roast Potatoes

Toss potatoes on a baking sheet with a large drizzle of oil, half the fry seasoning, and 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper

Roast for 25 Minutes

Step 3: Make Sauce

While potatoes roast in a small bowl, combine mustard, mayo, and 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper

Step 4: Form Into Patties

In a medium bowl, combine beef and remaining fry seasoning

Form into two patties, each slightly wider than a burger bun

Season all over with 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper

Step 5: Cook Burgers

Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat

Add patties, and cook for 5 minutes per side or preferred doneness

After patty has cooked, top each patty with gouda cheese, cover with lid, and steam for 2 minutes to melt cheese

Mean while halve buns, and toast to preferred doneness

Step 6: Finish and Serve

Spread top bun with bacon jam. Fill buns with shredded lettuce, patties, and crispy fried onions

Divide burgers and potato wedges between plates

Serve with Dijon mayo sauce on the side for dipping
