Spicy Beef Lo Mein

SPICY BEEF LO MEIN WITH GREEN BEANS


PREP TIME: 5 Minutes/ COOK TIME: 20 Minutes

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy

INGREDIENTS: 1/8 Cup Sweet Thai Chili Sauce, Ginger, 1/8 Cup Soy Sauce, Lo Mein Noodles, Scallions, 1/8 Cup Mayo, Green Beans, 1 TBSP Sriacha, Ground Beef


Step 1: Prep

Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil

Wash and dry produce

Trim green beans, and cut in half for 2 inch pieces, thinly slice scallions, peel and mince ginger

Step 2: Mix Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayo, half the chili sauce, and sriracha

Set aside until ready to serve

Step 3: Cook Noodles

Once water is boiled, add noodles to pot, cook stirring occasionally for 7 minutes

Drain and set aside

Step 4: Start Beef and Vegetables

While noodles cook, heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat

Add beef, green beans, scallions, ginger, and 1/4 TSP salt and pepper

Cook breaking meat into pieces

Cook for 6 minutes

Step 5: Finish Beef and Vegetables

Add soy sauce, remaining chili sauce, and 1/4 cup of water to pan with beef and green beans

Cook for 1 minute

Remove from heat

Step 6: Finish and Serve

To pan with beef and green beans, add drained noodles, 2 TBSP butter, and 1/4 TSP salt and pepper

Divide lo mein between shallow bowls, drizzle with sauce, top with scaillions

Serve hot and enjoy!
