Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Pasta Bake
MUSHROOM AND CARAMELIZED ONION PASTA BAKE WITH WHITE CHEDDAR AND CRISPY PANKO

INGREDIENTS: Onion, Scallions, 1 Cup of Cheese Sauce, 2 TBSP of Cream Cheese, 1 Cup of pasta, 1 Cup of White Cheddar Cheese, 1/2 Cup of Sliced Mushrooms, 1 Cup of Parmesan Cheese, 1/4 Cup of Panko Bread Crumbs, 1 TBSP Mushroom Bouillon Paste
Step 1: Prep and mix panko
Preheat Oven to 450 degrees. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry produce.
Thinly slice mushrooms, thinly slice onion, thinly slice scallions
In a small bowls combine panko, parmesan, 1 TBSP oil, 1/4 TSP Salt and Pepper.
Step 2: Cook Mushrooms
Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms, 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper. Cook for 7 minutes. Remove from heat once cooked
Step 3: Cook Pasta
Once water is boiling, cook pasta for 11 Minutes.
Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain.
Step 4: Cook Onion
Heat a drizzle of oil in pan on medium heat. Add onions and scallions. Cook for 10 Minutes.
Reduce heat to low. Add 1 TSP of sugar, 1 TBSP of water, 1/4 tsp of salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes
Step 5: Cook Sauce
To pan with onion mixture, add mushrooms, cheese sauce, cream cheese, cheddar cheese parmesan cheese, 2 TBSP of butter, 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper. Mix well until cheese is melted on low medium heat.
Step 6: Assemble pasta bake
Stir in drained pasta.Transfer pasta and sauce into an oven safe dish. Evenly sprinkle with panko mixture. Bake on top rack for 4 minutes, or until golden.
Plate and serve hot.
