Beef Albondigas And Patatas Bravas With Garlic Aioli, And Mixed Salad

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: EasyINGREDIENTS: 1/8 Cup Sweet Thai Chili, Ranch Steak, 1/4 Cup Sweet Soy Glaze, Cilantro, 1/8 Cup Crispy Fried Onions, 1 TBSP Corn Starch, 1/4 Cup Garlic Scaillion Paste, Lime, Shishito Peppers, 3/4 Cup Jasmine Rice
Step 1: Cook Rice
In a small pot combine 2 TBSP butter, rice, 1.25 Cup water, and 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper
Bring to a boil
REDUCE HEAT TO LOW AND COVER
Simmer for 15 minutes
Keep covered off heat heat until ready to serve
Step 2: Prep
While rice cooks, wash and dry produce
Trim stems from shishito peppers
Quarter lime
Roughly chop cilantro
Step 3: Season And Cook Steak
Pat steak dry with paper towels, cut into bite size pieces
Place in a medium bowl, and season all over 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper
Add corn starch to bowl, and toss to coat
Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat
Add steak, cook for 3 minutes
Turn off heat, transfer to plate
Step 4: Blister Shishito Peppers
Heat a drizzle of oil in pan used for steak over medium heat
Add Shishito Peppers and cook for 3 minutes
Step 5: Finish Stir Fry
Meanwhile in a small bowl, combine chili sauce, 2.50 TBSP sweet soy glaze, and 1/2 TSP sugar
Transfer steak back to pan along with chili soy mixture, and 1 TBSP butter
Cook for 2 minutes
Remove from heat, and stir in a squeeze of lime juice
Step 6: Finish and Serve
Fluff Rice with a fork
Stir in garlic ginger scallion paste
Divide rice between bowls and top with steak and shishito peppers
Sprinkle with crispy fried onions and cilantro
Serve with lime wedge on the side
Serve hot and enjoy!
