Chopped Cheese and Beef Rice Cake Skillet With Shredded Lettuce, Tomato, And Gochujang Aioli

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Medium

INGREDIENTS: Onion, Baby Lettuce, Ground Beef, Tomato, 1/8 Cup of Gochujang Aiolii, 1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese, Korean Rice Cakes, 1/8 Cup of Cream Cheese, 2 TBSP Ketchup, 1 TBSP Fry Seasoning, Garlic, 2 TBSP Vidalia Onion Paste


Step 1: Prep

Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 500 degrees ( Broil Setting)

Wash and dry produce

Halve, peel, and dice onion

Peel and mince garlic

Trim and discard root end from lettuce, and slice shreds

Dice tomato

Set aside ¾ cup of water

Step 2: Cook Beef

Heat a drizzle of oil in a large ovenproof pan over medium heat

Add beef, onion, and garlic. Breaking up meat into smaller pieces

Cook for 6 minutes

Season with ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Step 3: Season Beef

Add fry seasoning, and vidalia onion paste to pan with beef mixture

Cook for 1 minutes

Step 4: Cook Rice Cakes

Add rice cakes, reserved water, and cream cheese to pan

Stir to combine until cheese is incorporated

Cook, stirring frequently for 4 minutes

Turn off heat

Step 5: Add Cheese and Broil

Add half the mozzarella to pan. Stir to combine

Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over top

Transfer to middle rack to oven and broil for 2 minutes

Step 6: Finish and Serve

Drizzle ketchup and Gochujang Aioli over top

Sprinkle wuth lettuce and tomato

Serve hot and enjoy!
