Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy
SALISBURY STEAK WITH MUSHROOM GRAVY, PLUS GARLIC MASHED POTATOES AND CARROTS

INGREDIENTS: 12 oz of Gold potatoes, 3 large carrots, scallions, 1 TSP dried rosemary, 1 TBSP of Chicken Bouillon Paste, 2 TBSP Sour Cream, 2 Garlic Cloves, 4 oz button mushrooms, 10 oz ground beef, 1 TBSP beef bouillon paste, 1 TBSP Flour
Step 1: Prep
Wash and dry produce. Dice Potatoes, mince garlic, slice carrots, slice scallions, slice mushrooms.
Step 2: Cook Potatoes and garlic
Cook potatoes and garlic in a large pot in boiling water with salt . Cook for 20 Minutes. Reserve 1.5 cups of potato liquid. Drain liquid after cooked, return potatoes to pot. Keep covered until ready to mash. (Mash after beef has cooked)
Step 3: Cook Carrots
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add carrots, and 1/4 TSP of Salt and Pepper. Cook for 7 minutes.
Step 4: Form and Cook Patties
Combine ground beef, scallions 1/4 TSP rosemary, salt and pepper. Form into two patties. Add oil to pan, medium heat Cook 5 minutes per side.
Step 5: Make mushroom gravy
Melt 1 TBSP butter in pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms. Add flour, and a pinch of rosemary. Cook for 3 minutes. Whisk in 1 cup reserved potato liquid, and bouillon paste. Bring to a simmer, cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Finish and Serve
Return patties to pan, cover with mushroom gravy. Cook for 2 minutes to warm. Plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
