Soy Glazed Steak
SOY GLAZED STEAK WITH ASPARAGUS STIR FRY PLUS JASMINE RICE, AND SCALLION GINGER OIL

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: MEDIUM
INGREDIENTS: Ginger, Scallions, Onion, Asparagus, 3/4 Cup of Rice, Ranch Steak, 1/4 Cup Sweet Soy, 1/8 Glaze, Sesame Dressing, 1/8 Thai Chili Sauce, 1 TBSP Sesame Seeds
Step 1: Prep
Wash and dry produce
Mince ginger, trim scaillions, halve peel and thinly slice onions, trim woody ends of asparagus, then cut in half
Step 2: Cook Rice
In a small pot on medium-high heat combine 2 TBSP butter, rice, 1.25 cups of water, 1/4 TSP salt.
Bring to a boil.
REDUCE HEAT TO LOW, COVER.
Cook for 15 Minutes
Once cooked, keep off heat until ready to serve
Step 3: Cook Steak
Pat steak dry with paper towels, and season with 1/4 TSP salt pepper all purpose seasoning and paprika
Heat a large pan on medium heat, add a large drizzle of oil to pan
Cook to desired doneness
4 minutes per side ( Medium rare)
Once cooked, transfer to cutting board to rest
Step 4: Make Scaillion Oil
In a microwave safe bowl, combine ginger, scallions, 2 TBSP Oil, 1/4 TSP of salt
Microwave for 30 seconds
After microwaving, set aside
Step 5: Cook Stir Fry
In same pan used for steak, heat a drizzle of oil on medium heat
Add scallions, onion, asparagus, sweet soy glaze, sesame dressing, chili sauce, 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 tsp of salt and pepper
Cook for 7 minutes
Step 6: Fin8sh and Serve
Thinly slice steak against the grain
Divide rice, and asparagus stir fry between shallow bowls
Top with steak, any remaining pan sauce, and scallion ginger oil
Garnish with sesame seeds
Serve hot and Enjoy!
