Sweet Chili Beef
SWEET CHILI BEEF, AND GREEN BEAN BOWLS WITH JASMINE RICE, CRISPY ONIONS, AND CILANTRO

INGREDIENTS: 1/3 Cup Sweet Thai Chili Sauce, 1/3 Cup of Sweet Soy Glaze, 3/4 Cup of Jasmine Rice, 1 Lime, Ground Beef, Cilantro, Crispy Fried Onions, Green Beans
Step 1: Cook Rice
In a small pot, combine 2 TBSP of butter, rice, 1.25 Cups of water, and 1/4 TSP salt.
Bring to a boil.
Once boiled, REDUCE HEAT TO LOW. Cover
Cook for 15 Minutes.
Step 2: Prep
Wash and dry produce.
Trim green beans, and cut into 2 inch pieces, quarter lime, remove cilantro from stems, roughly chop leaves.
Step 3: Cook Beef
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add beef, season with 1/4 TSP salt and pepper.
Using a spatula, press into an even layer. Cook undisturbed or 4 minutes.
Break up meat into pieces, continue to cook for 4 more minutes.
Step 4: Cook Green Beans
While beef cooks, in a medium microwave safe bowl, add green beans and a splash of water. Microwave for 2 minutes.
Drain any excess water.
Step 5: Finish Stir Fry
To pan with beef, stir in green beans, chili sauce, sweet soy glaze, 1 TBSP of butter, 1/2 TSP sugar.
Cook for 2 minutes, thoroughly coating beef.
Remove from heat, stir in squeeze of lime.
Step 6: Finish and Serve
Fluff rice with a fork. Season with 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper.
Divide rice and stir fry between plates. Sprinkle with crispy fried onions, and chopped cilantro. Serve with remaining lime wedges on the side.
