Chicken Alfredo, Fresh Fettuccine Noodles, Parmesean, And Chives

INGREDIENTS: Chives, Garlic, Fettuccine Noodles, Chicken Cutlets, 1 TSP Garlic Powder, 1 TSP Nutmeg, 1 Cup Cream Sauce Base, 2 TBSP Cream Cheese, 1/2 Cup Parmasean Cheese, 1 TSP Chili Flakes


Step 1: Prep

Wash and dry produce

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil

Peel and mince garlic

Finely chop chives

Step 2: Cook Pasta

Once water is boiling, add Fettuccine to pot

Stir and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium

Cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally

Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water, then drain

Step 3: Season Chicken

While Fettuccine cooks, pat chicken dry with paper towels

Season all over with garlic powder, and 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper

Step 4: Cook Chicken

To a large pan on medium heat, drizzle oil

Add chicken

Cook for 7 minutes per side

Turn off heat, transfer to a cutting board

Step 5: Make Sauce and Finish Pasta

Once Fettuccine is done, heat a drizzle of oil in a pan used for chicken over low heat

Add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute

Whisk in cream sauce base, cream cheese, 1/3 cup reserved pasta water, and 1/8 TSP of nutmeg

Bring to a simmer

Reduce heat to low

Cook for 2 minutes, stirring continuously

Remove from pan

Stir in 1 TBSP butter, and parmesean until melted and smooth

Add drained Fettuccine, toss until thoroughly coated

Season with 1/4 TSP of salt and pepper

Step 6: Finish and Serve

Slice chicken

Divide pasta between shallow bowls

Top with chicken, chives, and chili flakes

Serve hot and enjoy!
