Creamy Herb Trout With Roasted Carrots and Green Beans, ( With Rice- Optional)


PREP TIME: 10 Minutes/ COOK TIME: 35 Minutes

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Medium

INGREDIENTS: Trout, Green Beans, Carrots, 1 TBSP Ranch Seasoning, 2 TBSP Cream Cheese, 1 TBSP Seafood Bouillon Paste, Garlic, Lemon, 2 TBSP Sour Cream


Step 1: Prep

Wash and Dry Produce

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Mince Garlic

Zest and quarter lemon

Slice Carrots

Trim Green Beans

Step 2: Start Carrots

To ½ baking sheet , place Carrots

Drizzle with oil, and season with ¼ TSP of salt, pepper, all purpose seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika

Place into oven for 10 minutes

Step 3: Finish Carrots and Cook Beans

Remove carrots from oven

To other half of baking sheet, place green beans

Drizzle oil, and season with ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Bake for 15 minutes

Step 4: Cook Trout

To a large pan on medium heat, drizzle oil

Season trout on both sides with ½ TBSP of ranch seasoning, and ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Place into pan, skin side down

Cook skin side down for 7 minutes

Flip and cook for 2 minutes more

Place onto wooden cutting board, and tent with foil to keep warm

Step 5: Make Sauce

To a medium sauce pan on medium heat, melt 2 TBSP of butter

Add sour cream, cream cheese, remaining Ranch Seasoning, lemon zest, half a squeeze of lemon, and ¼ TSP of salt and pepper

Whisk until well incorporated

Keep covered and off heat until ready to serve

Step 6: Finish and Serve

Bewteen shallow bowls, place trout, carrots, and green beans

Top trout with sauce

Serve with side of lemon wedge

Serve hot and Enjoy!
